It’s a new visual concept invented and initiated by Ben Heine in 2010. Ben published his first "Pencil Vs Camera" image in April 2010 but the series is the result of a long graphic exploration. John Girouard was born in New Jersey and now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Staring out as a traditional artist many years ago, he began to work digitally in January of 2001. While still using traditional methods, he employs a combination of digital painting, 3D and photography in his work.
