Ok so what has Friday’s fresh breeze of design inspirations brought us? The answer is simple .. nothing less than quality you’re used to .). There are some cool photos for the appetizer. Check amazing snowy landscape, called very originally Snow by Mauro Maione. Another photo I like is the misty lake full of swans called Misty Morning by Derek Griggs. Right below this photo there is an awesome artistic shot featuring beautiful Asian model by Nicoline Patricia Malina. In the illustrations section you’ll find quite a masterpiece called Surge of fur by Yukari Masuike. I’ll skip the art / digital art this time and move directly into the ad section. I like the very first ad called Weight Watchers: Treat Yourself Better, 7 by FRED & FARID. Not sure if I am that fond of the idea, but the final realization is kind of appealing. If you’re looking for a decent old school font get the one in the freebies section called Villa Didot. Enjoy!

As some of you may know, we already featured light paintings on Cruzine, but we didn’t dedicate the whole gallery to this technique yet. The time has come as it seems :). In case there are still readers who are not familiar with light paintings, let’s clarify. Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. It requires a slow shutter speed, usually a second or more. After a week we made sure to prepare another set of fresh design resources for our fellow designers. Of course there is plenty to look at. As usual, we divided this collection into seven separate sections. First six sections are commercial … it doesn’t matter though as you may get inspired at least or simply buy the stuff, as it’s seriously cheap (around 5 bucks per piece). We’re starting today’s inspiration series with two amazing landscape photos. Mainly the one called The Dream 2 by Marco Barone is a must-see. There are two more fashion related pics worth mentioning. Check FOAM Tinsel Town by Julia Galdo and an awesome portrait photo called Ybeauty by Caesar Lima. Illustrations didn’t disappoint neither. Seems we’ll be doing this in series of two today :). Anyway, there are two you gotta love. There is a little animal brainstorming artwork :) called the Wisdom to the Nines by Rachel Caldwell. The other one is by talented Denis Zilber called The Blizzard. You have to admit it’s very original and simply amazing. Didn’t expect I’ll be mentioning any 3d artworks … was mistaken obviously. Falling Bloom by Andrius Balciunas deserves to be here .. it’s a first class. Let’s take a look what’s new in the World of creative ads … there are, guess what .. again two artworks I like. It’s the Airtel Broadband: Destinations by JWT and Tigo: Smartphone, 2 by Biedermann McCann. Picking two phone operators is pure coincidence :). Hi guys! Let’s begin today with some nice illustrations. What about the Smile for the Camera illustration by Brianna? I am sure Walt Disney would like this one. Another illustration I’d like to recommend is a bit darker .. but still quite original. I am speaking about Avatar Faceoff by Fabian Schlaga. In the art / digital art section my pick would be the Hold On by Ruben Ireland. I am not saying it’s the best one from this section, but at least it’s my favorite one. Really love the idea behind Fattal International Hotels & Resorts: Battery Charger advertisement by Yehoshua/ TBWA. That’s called creative … so now we know where it’s the best place to stay when in need of charging up .).
