Fantastic Portraits by Omri Koresh
Omri Koresh is a young artist born in 1986, in Israel. He was encouraged to draw and paint since the early childhood, and it was then when Omri knew he will become an artist. Inspired, among others, by David LaChapelle and Michael Hussar, Omri is known for his extraordinary talent and artistic direction. Today he works in all the mediums: makes original oil and acrylic paintings, does digital art and photo manipulation, creates objects and miniatures using ready-made materials, plastic, porcelain and more.
Omri is currently in the last year of his studies in Shenkar College, Israel. He gained popularity after publishing his fanart series of American McGee’s Alice back in 2004. The dramatic, restless energy emanating from his paintings raises eternal questions: what is life and existence, fear and darkness. Omri’s inspiration is gained from childhood memories reshaped into maturity and every work is an expansible cosmos with its worlds of ingenious freaks.
