Daily Inspirations no. 121

Design is one of the notions, which is too broad to have one unified definition. Scientists and philosophers still argue about what design is and how it works. It is interesting to mention one of the existing approaches in philosophy, explaining the design process. It is called Action-Centric Model. According to this theory there are three basic characteristics of design as a process: first explains that designers use creativity and emotion to generate ideas or design candidates, the second says that design process is improvised, and the third claims that all the stages of the design process, such as analysis, design, and implementation are inseparably linked. While philosophers still argue trying to find a true answer for what design actually is, photographers, painters, writers, and illustrators simply continue designing artful things, mostly being driven by inspiration and imagination, and not worrying about the stages of the design process or its scientific categorization.

With 30 years of life experience behind my shoulders, today I find myself focused mainly around two core values: my family (I am a happy husband and a proud father) and IT in its broadest meaning, including but not limited to hardware and software techniques and innovations. My special interest and true passion is photography. Here I am ready to put my signature under each word, once said by Dorothea Lange: “The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.” Being a part of Cruzine team, I enjoy instant process of learning as well as sharing my own experience in photography and IT with the readers of this digital magazine.
